What this phase actually is
Deployment is where the work meets reality. A model or analysis becomes part of a process: scheduled scoring, a dashboard, a recommendation list, or a human decision workflow.
The team also monitors whether the inputs, outputs, and outcomes still behave as expected. When the world changes, the solution may need recalibration, retraining, or a return to earlier phases.
The useful output is not just a shipped artifact. It is a maintained decision system with ownership, monitoring, and a path for improvement.
